Installation Instructions

Remote Control Function- When the DRIVER button is pushed power is sent to the blue wire until the button is released causing the drivers side live reel to rewind. When the PASSENGER button is pushed power is sent to the white wire until the button is released causing the passenger side reel to rewind.

What you need;
12 VDC test light
Wire connectors
14 ga. wire
Wire stripper / crimper

This kit contains;
Up to 6 transmitters
1 wireless receiver base unit with pigtails

         1.  Mount base unit in a location that allows the clearest line of sight for the transmitter. Remember the transmitter uses radio frequencies so the clearer the shot from the transmitter to the reciever the better the range. When possible orient the receiver vertically to help prevent miosture from entering the receiver around the pigtail.

         2.  Mount an on/off switch in a convenient location. The on/off switch is for isolating the reciever from any wired controls and to shut off the power to the receiver to prevent auxiliary battery drain.

          3.  Run a 14 ga. wire from a 12 vdc. power source to one of the terminals on the switch.

          4.  Connect the red wire from the reliever to the other terminal on the switch.

           5.  Connect the black wire to a good ground.

           6.  Connect the blue wire to the center post (the activation post) on the 3 post solenoid on the drivers side live reel.

           7. Connect the white wire to the center post (the activation post) on the 3 post solenoid on the passenger side live reel.

            When installing this system for a single live reel application disregard step 7 and use the DRIVER button only.

                            PROGRAMING TRANSMITTERS TO RECEIVER UNIT

            1.  Power up the receiver unit and remove the cover with a small phillips screwdriver.

            2. On the back side of the transmitter depress the ADD button with a paperclip or small wire and hold for 5 seconds (if working properly a blue light in the window will blink).

            3.  Flip the transmitter over and push each button individually to send the address the reciever. Then wait until the blue light stops blinking and proceed.

            4.  Go to the receiver and push the  black button. The red LED will begin to flash.

            5. Again push each button on the transmitter to save the unique address (1 in 16 million).

            6.  Push the black button on the receiver to end the programming mode and the red LED will stop flashing.

            7.  Test transmitter and replace cover.

                                                BATTERY REPLACEMENT

            The transmitter uses a standard CR2032 Lithium button cell battery. To replace the battery gently pry apart the two halves of the transmitter. Remove the battery by sliding it out from underneath the retainer. Observe the battery polarity when replacing. Once the battery is replaced YOU MUST REPROGRAM THE TRANSMITTER TO THE RECEIVER.
